A Whale of a Chair

I love Christmas break! I've been busy, busy on all sorts of projects. The most recent being a $5 chair I bought at a garage sale. I failed to get before pictures of it, but I'm making a mental note right now to never let that happen again. It was a pretty generic, brown chair. Wooden frame, brown leather cushioned seat. There. Let's get to the good stuff, pictures!

The paint I used was Krylon's Fusion in Pistachio. The fabric I found at an estate sale. It's just the cutest, funniest fabric.

Note:  as with any spray paint, always work in a well ventilated area and wear a mask. Trust me!!

DH likes whales and I like the old world feel of it. I love the flowers carved on the edges of the back of the chair. And like most quality chairs, it's sturdy and sits well.

Maggie & Evelyn would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
